Gudjohnsen Officially Moved to Tottenham Hotspur

London’s Tottenham Hotspur officially confirmed the signing of the contract with the attacker Eidur Gudonsenom. Icelander was leased from Monaco until the end of this season.
At White Hart Lane, a former player of Chelsea and Barcelona to compete for a place in the starting line-up with Jermain Defoe, Peter Crouch, Robbie Keane and Roman Pavlyuchenko.
On Thursday evening 31-year-old Gudjohnsen has passed a medical examination and agreed personal terms of the contract. Head coach Spurs Harry Redknapp admitted that he is extremely pleased that transaction.
“He is the player who I always liked. He is able to act on several positions, and he’s very smart. The decision to join us, he took himself. He said:” I want to move to Tottenham Hotspur – quoted Rednappa BBC.
Added that the football team also claimed Iceland and West Ham, who coached former partner Eidur on Chelsea Gianfranco Zola. However, experienced Gudjohnsen instead of fighting for survival picked the fight for UEFA club competitions. Regarding the financial situation Redknapp said that his club offered “not a penny more” than a “hammer”.

“We’re not going to sell it. We are happy that he is with us. He has great technique,” – added Redknapp about Pavlyuchenko.
